  • Cannes, between glamour and elegance
Presented by Miryam LAMONACA-LEPEU

Cannes is unquestionably the natural jewel of the French Riviera. The city breathes that ideal of glamour and French charm that attracts – and rightly so – investors from all over the world. Its Festival has made the city world-famous and the natural riches of the region make Cannes an exceptionally attractive city.

La Croisette is the beating heart of the Festival. Let yourself be seduced by the Cannes symbols of luxury and glamour, the hustle and bustle of its palaces, casinos, starred restaurants, luxury boutiques and private beaches to live a daydream. From the top of the steps of the Palais des Festivals, you will be sensitive to the city’s rich history, which has welcomed – and still welcomes – great film stars every year.

In Cannes, no less than 300 days of sunshine per year shine on the city. The 70,000 inhabitants enjoy an exceptional setting, worthy of a heavenly setting. Between the bay of Cannes and the neighbouring town of Mandelieu-la-Napoule, 7 kilometres of fine sand stretch as far as the eye can see and attract more than two million visitors every year. The beaches from Golfe-Juan to Vallauris, located to the east of Cannes, offer a splendid spectacle and contribute to making the bay of Cannes the small paradise of the French Riviera. Luxury real estate in Cannes is very dynamic.

Every summer, the population triples in Cannes, which stimulates the tourist employment sector. The technological employment pool is not to be outdone: in fact, the aerospace technology leader Thales Alenia Space Cannes generates 2,500 direct jobs in the region. A city of culture and knowledge, Cannes hosts around 40 international congresses a year, making it France’s leading B-to-B city and the second largest congress city after the capital. Well served, the city can count on easy access to continue to attract tourists: the airport, the TGV line and the A8 motorway contribute each summer to revitalize the city.

The market for second homes is very attractive for owners wishing to invest in luxury real estate in Cannes. Indeed, the real estate market in the film capital is made up of 40% of second homes. You will certainly be seduced by our offer of prestigious properties: apartments with terrace on the sea front, villas on the heights of Cannes with panoramic view on the bay… Enough to meet all your expectations.

LA CROISETTE

LA CROISETTE

The Croisette neighbourhood, as its name suggests, includes the part of the Boulevard de la Croisette while Pointe Croisette is located in its extension, in the south-eastern part of the city. In the heart of the city centre, the Croisette district represents a micro-market, with its prestigious apartments offering panoramic sea views like few others in the world. Reserved for a privileged clientele looking for a second or main residence, it remains a high-budget market.

A quiet neighbourhood in low season but very lively during the Festival, Pointe Croisette combines the advantage of opening onto the bay while being only a few steps from the city centre; it is therefore very popular with tourists. It’s a lively neighbourhood and is mostly composed of apartments, with houses being present but rare. Pointe Croisette is well served in terms of transportation and most trips can be made without a car.

The district is rich in architectural treasures and among them, Villa Fiorentina, built in 1880, is listed on the General Inventory of Cultural Heritage. Its Italian-style gardens are a real pleasure for the eyes.
