The story of the Tony Pin Palace differs from that of the other palaces built during the Belle Epoque, indeed, the Tony Pin was one of the first “Palaces” of Cimiez for residential and non-hotel purposes.
We can see in old photos this beautiful building, built in the purest Belle Epoque style, overlooking the hill which was still mostly composed of fields and orchards.
It also overlooked the “Swiss Farm” located on Avenue Edith Cavell (see photo below). Indeed, until the late 1970s, there were cows in Cimiez and you could come to get your milk!
Without having the pomp of the former Palace-Hotels, the Tony Pin remains today a very beautiful luxury residence, offering vast and comfortable apartments which still have all the charm and style of the Belle Epoque …
