A Belle Epoque Palace
Nice - The Port of Nice
The Palais Saluzzo in Nice is a 6-storey building designed in 1934. Located in the port district, in the immediate vicinity of Place du Pin and Rue Bonaparte, this building was designed by the architect Aubert Honoré, who gave it an Art Deco style, with an arched façade.
Mr Honoré graduated from the École Nationale des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and moved to Nice in 1919.
Inventor of the Nice Art Deco style where the facades mix stone opus and coloured concrete, he quickly became one of the most prolific architects of this architectural period. He completed 130 projects in the city of Nice.
In a few years, the port district has become a very popular area thanks to the developments carried out by the city of Nice, the arrival of the tramway, and the many restaurants and small shops that have been set up there. Life in the district is very dynamic and increasingly attractive to young professionals and families. It is an excellent area for rental investment.
The flats have high ceilings, sunny balconies and all the charm of the Belle Epoque.
