All roads lead to Cemenelum
Nice - Cimiez
In 1883, a Colonel of the British Army, Sir William Edwyn Evans, started building, in the heart of Cimiez, a magnificent Italian Renaissance style villa on an 8-hectare piece of land. The property changed hands several times and was the subject of many transformations and divisions, to be finally sold and demolished in 1962 in order to create the Jardins de Cemenelum condominiums on the remaining part of the land.
The development consists of 6 “Villas” bearing the names of great Roman roads, harmoniously distributed within the magnificent 2.5-hectare park planted with century-old trees of different species.
The Jardins de Cemenelum condominium building, beautifully maintained since its construction, is a haven of peace and greenery, close to the city centre, and close to all amenities. One of the attractions of this residence is also the quality of its construction: large spaces and high ceilings, deep terraces, some with sea view, marble and parquet flooring, and large windows, which today still give the Jardins de Cemenelum apartments unique comfort, brightness and luxury.
