Palais Beauséjour Cannes Montfleury
In a magnificent green setting, a stone’s throw from the Croisette in Cannes, the Palais Beauséjour, divided into condominiums, offers its lucky residents unique living spaces, immersed in the charm of yesteryear.
This hotel was built around 1870, on the site of the Château Desmarets, built thirty years earlier. Around 1880, a wing was added to it, then its dome was removed after 1900, correlating with the addition of the first floor annexes to the southwest, modernized around 1941.
The Grand Duke Michael of Russia, his wife and a suite of 38 people moved in on November 3, 1888 and occupied the apartments on the ground and first floors. They returned there afterwards. In 1941, the Cannois masonry contractor Bourely transformed the hotel into apartments under the direction of the architect François Arluc, also a Cannois, for Mrs. Widow Marie Rivenc.
The apartments
Within this historic building with a secure enclosure, which has a concierge service, the apartments rival each other in charm. Equipped with south-facing terraces, they offer their owners splendid views of the parks and the bay of Cannes. The apartments have very high ceilings and beautiful spaces.
The surrounding area
Ideally located, the Palais Beauséjour is only a few minutes’ walk from the Croisette, the shopping streets and the beach. Just behind the property is Parc Montfleury, Cannes’ sports complex, with tennis courts and the largest indoor-outdoor swimming pool.
