Nice - Mont Boron

Situated on the rocky slopes to the south-east of Mont-Boron, overlooking both Boulevard Carnot and Avenue Jean Lorrain, this atypical château de l’Anglais was inspired by Colonel Robert Smith’s travels to India in 1856.

After the Second World War, the castle was converted into condominiums. The botanical garden is classified as a historical monument, then the castle on June 20, 2000.

The building complex with its fanciful exotic style, neo-mogholic constructions holds its originality as much by the pink colour of its facades, as by its sinuous shapes, its numerous towers, gazebos and staircases.

It remains as one of the strong testimonies of the eccentric constructions that were erected on the Riviera in the 19th century.

Overlooking the sea, most of the apartments plunge into the deep blue. Most of the apartments of the Résidence Château de l’Anglais have a beautiful deep terrace with a magnificent panoramic view of Nice and the Bay of Angels. Its proximity to the Port district, the castle and its park, the old town and the Cours Saleya make the Château des Anglais a very popular place to live.
